Congratulations to the 2010 Volleyfest Champion, Westlake and to the runner-up, A&M Consolidated! Final results are posted and the All-Tournament team is listed under the Awards tab. Thank you for a great tournament! We look forward to seeing you again next year.
Tie Breaker Rules: If teams are tied, we will first look at match percentage followed by the head-to-head result. If teams are still tied, we will refer to game winning percentage followed by the point differential, i.e. points scored minus points scored against.
Seeding for Bracket Play: We will seed the brackets using match winning percentage followed by game winning percentage followed by point differential.
Welcome to the 34th annual Fraulein Volleyfest hosted by Canyon and New Braunfels High Schools. The Volleyfest is the second largest tournament in Texas and is without a doubt a very pretigious event. We look forward to a lot of great volleyball and hope each of you enjoy your stay in historic New Braunfels.

Tournament History:
The Fraulein Volleyfest was co-founded in 1976 by Donna Lassiter Boehle (over 551 wins in her career) and Karen Chisum (Texas State Volleyball Head Coach with over 625 wins to her name). The title of this tournament comes from New Braunfels' strong link to a German heritage. Fraulein means "girl" in German and German's are famous for their "fests" or festivals (New Braunfels is best known for our fall Wurstfest). So it is very fitting for us to celebrate girl's volleyball and call it a Fraulein Volleyfest! For 34 years now, the Volleyfest has attracted some of the best varsity High School teams from around the state of Texas. This year 40 teams will be competing for the 34th Fraulein Championship Title!
In 2007, the Volleyfest was proud to add a very special award to be given out at the end of the touranment ... the "Perfect 10" Award. You can read more about this award under the "Award" tab.
